37TH ANNUAL LMSA-WEST REGIONAL CONFERENCE - 2021

"POTENCIAR EL CAMBIO: Creating Interconnection in Healthcare to Create Change"

Join LMSA virtually for NC2021: a weekend full of amazing sessions re: working together to bring about better health for our communities.

The Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) is proud to announce the upcoming LMSA National Conference, in conjunction with the 36th Annual LMSA West Regional Conference!

We extend a special thanks to the NC2021 co-hosts, Oregon Health & Science University and University of California, Irvine – School of Medicine.

Now in its 16th year, the annual LMSA National Conference aims to bring high school students, pre-medical undergraduates, medical students, physicians and other healthcare professionals together in order to discuss how to best meet the needs of the underserved communities we encounter. The Conference serves as a forum for many key topics in healthcare, from chronic disease and medical Spanish to healthcare policy and allyship. In addition, the Conference consistently exposes attendees to workshops and panels covering strategies for success for applying to and thriving in medical school, clinical skills, and student leadership training.

Through this year’s conference theme, “Potenciar el Cambio: Empowering Interconnection in Healthcare to Create Change,” we hope our attendees will further develop the knowledge and leadership skills necessary to bring about positive change for our patients and our profession, especially during these unprecedented times.
